Mary Berry Funny Great British Baking Show
- During the Sweet Dough week of series 3, after Paul gives her a highly dramatic toss-and-slam kneading demonstration, Sarah-Jane rushes over to convince Cathryn to try it. Cue Cathryn's dough ball flying across the tent and onto the floor, amid much hysterical giggling and apologising.
Sarah-Jane: (rushing to retrieve it) Look, it's OK, just pick the bits out!
Cathryn: It's got green carpet in it! I'm not serving Mary Berry green carpet! - Series 6's "dessert" episode has poor Sandy's meringue disk break and form a V shape when she's trying to make a Spanish Windtorte for the technical challenge. Sue is understandably incredulous, and the result is a hilarious exchange.
Sue: Does it say "V"?
Sandy: No, it says "fill the meringue case with the shell, topped with the meringue disk"... It doesn't say how!
Sue: Well, a disk tends to be a flat disk. *makes an inexplicable "V" shape with her hands* - The friendship between Tamal and Nadiya in Series 6 leads to some funny moments in the final as they playfully snark at each other.
Tamal: It works alright for you when you break the mold. You remember that Technical in (starts laughing) Week One?
Nadiya: Yeah, that re- Yeah, coming twelfth was amazing.
- In an early week of series 8, Julia reveals that she hasn't practiced her signature much, only "six or seven times", which prompts Paul to raise his eyebrows and stare at the camera from the background.
- Episode 4 of Series 7: Paul bites into a Yorkshire pudding with Sue standing next to him.
Sue: Just got the sound of his jaws. They're tectonic plates of the earth in my ear.
- During the semi final of series 7, Selasi decides to do Mel and Sue's job.
Selasi: Bakers, two hours left. That's two hours.
Sue: (charging up in mock-fury, with Mel right behind her) Are you putting me out of a job, mate? This is all I had.
Selasi: Sorry...
Sue: I was like the Speaking Clock but with puns! That's all I had!
Mel: Do you want us to come and bake for you? Hmm? Because we can do that, you know. - Tom made dick bread and won Star Baker.
- Julia's Penis Snail from series 8. She also won "Star Baker".
Paul: I like the snail... (corpses)
- During the Tudor Week Signature Challenge in series 7, Selasi is asked about the aromas from his game pie mixtures. He doesn't notice that Sue stuck rosemary into her nose the entire time until he does a Double Take.
- Noel attempting to use the hanging teacups at the back of the tent as a makeshift xylophone, inadvertently smashing one of them. He immediately dumps the tools he was using in the sink and legs it off-camera.
- In the dessert week technical challenge of series 8, Yan served her molten cakes in a dick formation for literally no reason. note Just to make it funnier, Yan is lesbian.
Yan: If you're going to serve a cake, serve it phallic.
- In Pastry Week in season 8, Liam is doing a soccer-related theme for his shortcrust savoury pies, and Paul asks which team he supports. Liam says Manchester United, and after a long beat, Paul note Who is from Wallasey, just over the River Mersey from Liverpool. says, "It's such a shame you have to leave this week." (He won Star Baker instead.)
- Doubling with Heartwarming: Noel, Sandi, and the series 10 quarterfinalists tossing a lime around. It turns right into funny when Steph asks incredulously (but jokingly) whether people remembered they were supposed to be getting their bakes out of the oven.
- When Matt asked Laura about Freddie Mercury's head in Series 11, Episode 1.
Laura: Well, when I tried it the first time his head exploded.
Matt: (While giving a "Welp! That's enough of that!" look) Yeah. Yeah. Cut, cut.
- Another gem from season 11, while judging a pastry cage:
Pru: I think it looks beautiful, it's a really clever design, and I think you've managed to get it to work... [Paul picks it up and immediately breaks it into pieces] ...until Paul Hollywood wrecked it.
- The holiday special brings on the cast of Derry Girls. The girls are hilarious, especially Siobhan, who plays Sister Michael.
- In order to calm down German-speaking contestant Jurgen in the opening episode 2021 season, Matt sings the theme song to The Flintstones entirely in German (with his own translation).
- During Bread week in Series 12...
- During the Technical, Noel asks Jurgen if Jurgen needs a spare piece of dough. Jurgen tells Noel he could eat it. Noel instead proceeds to throw it at Crystelle.
- Jurgen makes his showstopper milk bread in the shape of a baby. Much humor is derived from the cooking and eating of said baby; for example, when he explains his design, Prue seems more inclined to try the accompanying bread toys, while the others joke that Paul eats babies anyway.
- KSI flipping his cherry pie over and then freezing in absolute horror at the resultant mess must be seen to be believed. For an added bonus there's the other contestants cheerfully thanking him for help with their custard while it goes down, and you can tell whoever is filming KSI's segment is laughing too, as the camera is shaking slightly.
